Mr. Kamarei has over 30 years experience in commercial and business litigation. Since 2019, Mr. Kamarei’s sole focus has been representing hundreds of franchise and independent car dealerships in California and is a senior partner of Auto Legal Group LLP, (“ALG”). His representation includes cases ranging from the Consumer Legal Remedies ACT, the Song Beverly, Automobile Sales Finance Act, and issues relating to the Uniform Commercial Code.
He has successfully defended several consumer related cases against vehicle dealers to conclusion in both jury trials and arbitrations.
Mr. Kamarei has represented clients in large disputes and/or conducted trial in various jurisdictions including Northern and Southern California, Wisconsin, Florida, Montana, Texas, Maryland, Utah and New Jersey. Especially difficult and complex cases that concluded at trial and/or were appealed successfully include:

• Successfully arguing before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to reverse a Federal District Court judgment on international embargo regulations in a published decision,
• Successfully obtaining a preliminary injunction against Safeway’s predatory gas pricing policies.
• Successfully argued reversal of the trial court’s decision regarding California’s CLRA (Consumer Legal Remedies Act) in a published decision.
• Successfully arguing on the application of and expansion of the “unclean hands” defense also in a published decision.

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Kamarei is an author, inventor, and entrepreneur. Mr. Kamarei has authored and developed comprehensive compliance and training software for automobile dealerships.
