A Bay Area native, Ali R. grew up surrounded by the region’s entrepreneurial energy and deep ties to the automotive community, which naturally shaped his passion for the industry and the people who drive it.

Ali earned his undergraduate degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO)and his law degree from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. Before co-founding Auto Legal Group, he gained firsthand experience working with dealerships, giving him a practical understanding of the challenges that business owners face every day, from regulatory compliance to consumer law disputes.

For over a decade, Ali R. has built a reputation as a trusted auto dealer attorney known for combining sharp legal strategy with genuine care for his clients. He has successfully represented both independent and franchise dealerships in civil litigation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations, while also helping businesses strengthen their internal compliance systems. Ali R. has co-authored dealer training materials and helped design lawsuit-prevention and compliance software that make legal protection more accessible to the automotive community.
